Here are some stills for shows for which I have done timing direction. Timing directors are artists who are skilled in animation and film direction. They fill out exposure sheets with numbers, symbols, and thumbnail sketches to describe animation which will be done overseas. Timing is sometimes compared to sequence directing or "animating without animating".
